Sooo I went to my school's art show today. I spent the majority of my time in awe at the painting student's work. I documented many of my favorites.
This little beauty is Terrell McCrackhead.... rocking the "Terrell Bun," naturally. This one is probably my favorite. Not to mention Abbey Crunk is one of the most creative crips I know.
Just some of Abbey Crunk's work... It's amazing.
One of my art buddies did this self portrait of herself and then decided to turn it into a linoleum block print. She titled the prints "I Love Me," and naturally they turned out amazing. Kudos to her, confidence is everything.
This wall was full of Art 1 masterpieces. Every tile was covered with some type of print, pencil drawing or collage. Good job, everyone!!
At Campaigners tonight, we watched the most emotionally draining movie I've ever seen. If you haven't had time to watch The Passion of the Christ yet, I highly recommend it. Even to a non-believer it's a great movie. I learned alot, but I have to admit it made me a little angry. If you've seen it, you know why.
This past month in general has been draining. I've heard a 9/11 survivor's story; which was amazing. I've heard a precious woman speak about her experiences in the Nazi regime. Then, I watched this movie tonight just topped off my emotional capacity...
I'm excited for the lake this weekend! We are stocking up on life jackets and tubes tomorrow; wish me luck!
